The President of IMMER Group Irina Miroshnik took part in the "Global Manufacturing Conference" organized by the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and shared its experience of entering new markets as a way to overcome the crisis.
In the section "Manufacturing beyond China", IMMER Group had been presented as a new industrial model that suggests the possibility of producers coming closer to their target markets.
During her report, Irina Miroshnik, told participants about the evolution of IMMER Group and key developments that stipulated the Company’s market retargeting: “Geopolitical crisis in Ukraine forced us to change the way we operated, we learnt how to adopt new technologies in order to enter new markets. We had to make changes even in our minds, we had to move on and start of production in Latvia proved the success of our efforts. I am sure that this example shows that crises can lead to strong restart and bright future prospects if to work with it properly”.
The conference was held on October 24-25, 2017 in Germany, Dusseldorf, and gathered more than 150 world industrial leaders, becoming a unique environment for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and best practices among members of the World Bank Group that help overcome financial, operational and political-economic difficulties.
