On November 30, IMMER Group President Irina Mirochnik took part in the Future Business Forum 2017 as a full-fledged participant of the UN Global Compact, where she presented the sustainable development strategy of her Group and described how to achieve global goals by acting locally.
"The principles of sustainable development have been a backbone of our business strategy for many years. In compliance to it, we systematically invest our resources in the R&D of new packaging materials which meet up-to-date standards of energy efficiency and environmental safety. At the same time, our experience shows that global challenges can be tackled only by joining forces. That is why it is important for us to participate in such initiatives as the UN Global Compact, Responsible Care, Safe Food, CEFLEX. It enables IMMER Group and other players to contribute to the common cause and achieve global sustainable development goals by acting locally, " – said Irina Mirochnik during her presentation, in the panel discussion "Global Goals. Local business ".
Future Business Forum 2017, was held under a slogan "Innovation. Partnership. Responsibility" and gathered more than 500 entrepreneurs, owners and top-managers of corporations, state companies, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, international organizations, as well as officials of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine. The Forum was initiated by the UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine.
