The IMMER Group strives to constantly improve their work efficiency in all areas – from production to marketing as well as from procurement to logistics. To achieve that, we are looking for the best partners, while optimizing the internal processes.
An important event involving IMMER Group took place a short while ago. A direct contract has been signed with the German logistics corporation Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Having a direct contract with a large logistics operator will bring the company more than 20% of the annual savings on transportation services of raw materials, as well as will significantly increase the transparency and efficiency at all stages of the logistics chain.
According to the new Head of External Logistics Service, Dmitrijs Shturma, the direct contract with the reputable European carrier is a necessary foundation for pushing restart of the logistics service in IMMER Group and the opportunity to move to a qualitatively new level of transportation of the raw materials necessary for production.
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics was founded in 1871 in the city of Osnabrück in northern Germany. The company's founder, Carl Heinrich Hellmann, has started his business from delivering packages on a horse-drawn cart. Almost 150 years on, Charles's great-great-grandsons, Jost and Klaus, now own and manage this global corporation with 19,300 employees and 443 offices in 157 countries.
